 Student Online Courses

Online courses from Madison Virtual Campus are open to students of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD). If you are a high school or middle school student interested in taking an online class, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Go to the K12 Student Catalog to view the available courses.
  2. Arrange to meet with the online mentor teacher at your school:

  4. Complete the request process with the assistance of your online mentor teacher or counselor.

 Professional Development Courses

The professional development courses are available to staff of the Madison Metropolitan School District, Private/Parochial School staff in the MMSD area, staff from Partner School Districts, and others who have been invited.

You need to be logged in before you can sign up for classes. If you have never logged in before, you need to register for a user account: 

  1. Click on the "Register" button (above purple heading on left) and follow instructions to get a user account and set up a password.
  2. Log in and click on "MMSD Professional Learning Catalog" to view courses.
  3. Search for a course you want, click "details", then "add to cart" (button on far right).
  4. Click "Check out."
  5. Click the drop down menu to choose the type of credit you are requesting (a type that is offered for that course), then click "continue."
  6. Click "Check out" again.
